Quality Assurance

Quality Inspection Process
Quality Assurance
Preparation

● Determine quality inspection standards: According to adhesive tape specifications, customer requirements and industry standards, clarify the quality indicators and inspection standardsof the tape.

● Prepare testing equipment: Ensure that all equipment used for quality inspection(such as tensile testing machines, viscosity testers, microscopes, temperature and humidity control boxes, breakdown strength testing machines, etc.) are in good working condition and arecalibrated.

● Training of QA staff: Train the thermal heaters involved in QA to ensure that they are familiar with QA standards, operational procedures and record keeping requirements.

Quality Assurance
Appearance Inspection

● Surface flatness: Check whether the surface of the PVC tape is flat, without bubbles, defectsorscratches and other defects.

● Smoothness of adhesive surface: Make sure the adhesive surface is smooth and evenly coated without impurities or particles.

● Printing clarity: For tapes with printed words or patterns, check whether the printing is clear and eye-catching.

● Paper tube specification: Check whether the thickness and diameter of the tape paper tube are in accordance with the standard, note: the specification may vary from product to product.

● Dimension measurement: Measure the width, length, thickness and other dimensionsof thetapewith suitable tools to ensure that it meets the specifications.

Quality Assurance
Viscosity Test

● Initial adhesion test: Use the inclined ball method or similar method to test the tape'simmediateadhesion to the contact surface.

● Holding force test: Stick the tape on a standard test board, place it in a constant temperatureandhumidity environment for a certain period of time (such as 24 hours), and then measuretheforcerequired to peel the tape off the test board. The greater the holding force, the better the adhesion.

● Peel force test: Stick the tape between two metal sheets, apply a certain pressureandthenpeelitoff to observe the peel force. High-quality tape should have a lower peel force and be easy to use.

Quality Assurance
Physical Performance Test

● Tensile strength test: Apply tension along the length and width of the tape and observe its stretching. High-quality tape should have good tensile properties and not be easy to break.

● Elastic recovery test: Bend the tape to a certain angle and then release it to see if it canquicklyreturn to its original state.

● Abrasion resistance test: Conduct friction test on the tape under standard conditions to observe whether its surface is worn or blurred.

Quality Assurance
Environmental Adaptability Test

● Temperature resistance test: Place the tape in high and low temperature environmentstoobservechanges in its physical properties and viscosity.

● Humidity adaptability test: Test the performance changes of the tape in a high humidity environment to ensure that it can maintain stable adhesion in a humid environment.

● Chemical resistance Test: Exposes the tape to specific chemicals to evaluate its chemical resistance.

Quality Assurance
Environmental Testing

● Check whether the tape contains heavy metals, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and other substances that are harmful to the human body and the environment.

Quality Assurance
Comprehensive Assessment

● Performance comparison: Compare and analyze the test results with industry standards or manufacturer requirements to evaluate whether the overall performance of the tape meets the standards.

● Usage effect simulation: Test the performance of the tape in a simulated usage environment, suchas the viscosity, tensile strength and other properties in scenarios such as wire winding and door and window protection.

Quality Assurance
Records and Reports

● Record test data: Record the data and results of each test in detail, including test time, tester, testconditions, appearance inspection, viscosity test, physical property test, environmental adaptability test and environmental protection test data.

● Preparation of test report: Prepare a detailed test report based on the test data, conduct acomprehensive evaluation of the various properties of the tape, and point out whether there are any unqualified items and corresponding improvement measures.

Quality Assurance
Handling of Defective Products

● Feedback and communication: Communicate the quality inspection results and customer feedback to the production department and related personnel in a timely manner to promote the continuous improvement of product quality.

● Training and education: Regularly train and educate the quality inspection personnel toimprovetheir professional skills and quality awareness.
